Blogging is a geological process. Every post you make is like a little bit of sediment deposited by the stream of your thoughts. These sediments accumulate over the months and years; when you browse the archives, you are in fact inspecting ancient strata of your own mind.
In the archives, you may find the fossils of old opinions no longer extant in your mental ecosystem, and wonder at how such misshapen, ungainly mental constructs ever managed to thrive inside your skull.
