So, in the movie Robert Downey Jr. is playing an australian character who is playing a black character. Shouldn't the line be "I'm the dude disguised as another dude, playing that dude!" then?
Or maybe the character played by the character played by Downey is himself disguised, too? At how many levels of narration is the blackface taking place?
Sometimes I have an embarrassing difficulty parsing multiple intermingling levels of narration. Happened with Emphyrio, too.
