This movie was about the conflicts inherent in a monopoly on sexual satisfaction. The handsome dramatist with a magnetic personality manages to sport luscious, neumatic girlfriends in whatever sociopolitical system he finds himself in, while the awkward stasi agent and the porcine minister remain alone and sexually frustrated for the most part, having to resort to methods either pathetic or ignoble to receive their share of smoochies.
I think the movie was also about communism or something like that.
